Messaging Terms of Service

These Messaging Terms apply to the text-message (SMS) notification program operated by iShip sarl ("iShip", "we", "us"). This program is separate from our shopping, shipping and selling terms. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to these Messaging Terms.

Program description

iShip sends transactional (informational) text messages about your orders and shipments. These are service notifications, not marketing.

  • Order received and under processing.
  • Products purchased and expected to arrive at our warehouse.
  • Package received at the US / origin warehouse and expected to depart.
  • Package arrived to Lebanon / Syria — ready for delivery or pick-up.
  • Delivery, pick-up and status updates.

How you opt in

You opt in when you register an account on iShip to place an order or ship a package, and confirm your consent to receive order updates at sign-up or checkout. Providing your mobile number for this purpose is your consent to receive these messages.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your order and shipment activity. You will typically receive messages only when the status of one of your orders or packages changes.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

How to opt out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP (or OPTOUT, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, STOPALL) to any message. After you unsubscribe, we will send one confirmation message: “You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.” To rejoin, reply START.

Help

For help, reply HELP or INFO to any message, or contact us. You will receive: “Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg&Data Rates May Apply.”

Carriers & delivery

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages depends on your carrier's network and is not guaranteed.

Messaging Privacy Policy

This Messaging Privacy Policy explains how iShip sarl handles the information related to our SMS notification program. It complements our main Privacy Policy.

Information we collect for messaging

  • Your mobile phone number.
  • Your name and the order / shipment details needed to notify you.
  • Your opt-in and opt-out status (consent records).

How we use it

We use your mobile number only to send you transactional notifications about your own orders and shipments. We do not use it for third-party marketing.

No sharing of mobile opt-in data

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We share information only with the service providers who help us deliver the messages (for example, our SMS delivery provider), strictly to send the notifications on our behalf. These providers are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Your choices & rights

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data as described in our main Privacy Policy.
