It only works with Windows 7, 8, 10 and macOS 10.8.3 through Catalina (10.15.7); it is not compatible with Windows 11 or macOS Big Sur and later, and needs a driver installed before first use. You'll still need your own WiFi router and internet connection, since this adapter only adds wireless capability to your computer. Its nano size (20 x 14 x 7 mm) keeps other USB ports free, and it supports WPA2/WPA3 security along with Beamforming+ and MU-MIMO for better range and speed.
