Schumacher Electric 15A Car Battery Charger & Maintainer, 6V/12V – SC1280

About this item

The Schumacher SC1280 is a 15A fully automatic charger and maintainer for 6V/12V batteries, covering standard, AGM, gel, and deep-cycle types used in cars, boats, and powersport vehicles. Its microprocessor control handles the charge rate automatically, while the digital display keeps you updated on voltage and charge percentage. Beyond charging, it includes a battery tester and desulfation mode to help bring old batteries back to life, plus reverse hookup protection for safer everyday use.

• Charges and maintains 6V/12V batteries — standard, AGM, gel, and deep-cycle types, for cars, boats, and powersport vehicles
• 15A fast charge gets a dead battery back up quickly; automatic 3A maintain mode (2A for 6V) keeps it topped off without overcharging
• Microprocessor-controlled and fully automatic — just connect and it sets the right charge rate on its own
• Digital display shows real-time voltage and charge percentage so you always know battery status
• Built-in desulfation mode and battery tester help restore older batteries and check their health
• Reverse hookup protection stops the unit from running if clamps are connected backwards, for safer charging
