About this item

This TIG tungsten holder is CNC-machined in the USA from solid 7075 T651 aluminum, built tougher than the black iron pipe and NPT caps welders usually rely on. It holds a half stick of 7" tungsten with room to spare, and a UHMW insert at the bottom keeps sharpened tips from chipping or dulling. Grooved sides give a solid grip when opening or closing the cap, and the acme thread design makes swapping tungsten quick in the shop or in the field. Tungsten rod and gloves shown in photos are not included.
